Last week I talked about how this season of Supergirl has felt relatively scattered compared to the first.
Case in point: Remember when the show revealed Jeremiah Danvers was living as The Phantom Of The Cadmus and then never really mentioned it again?
“I actually thought Desperate Housewives finished very well. I feel like I get that from fans that they weren’t done watching those people’s lives.
But you know, Mike [Susan's onscreen husband] is dead, so I’m not quite sure where they’d go with that.
“A lot of them are missing one, two, three, four limbs and they’re young men and they are carrying on with their lives with such positive attitudes and vim and vigor,” Cain said.
Based on the inspirational true story, the film follows the frantic search by an entire community when a two-year-old boy suddenly goes missing. That once happened to me when he disappeared for a second--you know when you’re in a park, you fix your sandwich, you look up and you don’t see him. Some people believe God is involved in every little decision we make. Then he goes back home and realizes it’s a wonderful life that he has. It was a different time then now but it’s the same feeling. Have you ever had an experience like that in your life when people just gathered around you?
Hi wife, Christal, asks him to watch their two-year-old son Joe for a few minutes as they were packing up for a family vacation. Racked by guilt and fear, Randy joins Christal in a desperate search for their missing son. It’s a big time place, 80 acres, but we were just all over it for six weeks. Doesn’t matter where you stand on that issue, there is a whole community who, on this day, believe God had something to do with it. I just live and let live and live my life pretty much according to the Golden Rule. You are a great advocate for the well-being of children. If I’m going to take a trip like that, we’ll pack some of his things and I’ll take those with me and give them to kids out there. My son had a big collision in a football game the other day. I thought “Jeez…I can’t take this.”They’re still our babies.
If you’ve ever seen an episode of genre TV before, odds are you knew Jeremiah would turn out to be some sort of double agent long before the majority of the characters did.Supergirl has felt a little scattered in the second half of its second season, but Jeremiah’s return is a big enough event to anchor the episode. And his ties to Cadmus and their latest anti-alien scheme will hopefully give the show a new focus moving forward too.Two decades after skyrocketing to fame with his role as superman in the hit series "Lois & Clark," Dean Cain is still busy acting and making his own films. But these days, Cain is more than just an entertainer.
