I want to present multiple possibilities and mention their consequences.Main reason for this is that I have only limited insight into your situation.Tooltips and dungeon journal reflect ability values for one encounter version. Please refer to "Effect" section on spell pages to see values for all raid sizes and difficulties.
Yeah, I thought the same thing before I started, but there's a variety of reasons why Prot is the best: -Less damage taken leads to less downtime / less bandages used -Ability to easily pull 4 mobs, leading to faster kill times overall -Revenge. (I had no problems killing people who were even 5-8 levels higher than me, only using Shield Block, Last Stand and a bandage) -Being able to use Charge and Intercept in combat, in any stance, with a talent -Getting a short-CD stun, and at level 60, an even shorter CD stun While Fury and Arms are good with single target damage, Prot excels with Ao E damage, at least around lower levels. Revenge already hits really hard by itself; this talent not only gives it 60% damage, but makes it hit two targets for full damage!Having more control makes it less likely that someone on your team will be low on HP, which makes Twist of Fate less desirable. That being said you will want to be Twist of Fate against CC heavy comps – people will drop low while you’re in CC and this talent will make it easier to recover once you come out. Majority of my playtime was spend on protection (even though I am an altoholic playing all classes), and I PVP only rarely. Warrior threat generation was fixed (as of 6/2015). How good warrior tank you are going to be depends on how well you can use all the tools you have at your disposal – other tanks have many things included for free in their rotation, while warrior has to actively use them (attack speed slow f.e.) That being said Warrior has potential to take least damage out of all tanks.I dont want to – I want to provide resources, so you can find your own way.
